CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates and is Kappa Alpha Theta’s national philanthropy. CASA’s mission is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy to every abused or neglected child so that every child in the United States can be safe and have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive. CASA volunteers are trained community members who "stand up" for children - giving them a voice in the court system. Each volunteer commits to a child or sibling set, addressing his/her needs and seeking placement in a safe, loving home as quickly as possible. Voices for Children is the Brazos Valley chapter of the CASA organization. To learn more, please visit their website by clicking the CASA logo below.
